G3 Unvented hot water systems

Course information

The unvented hot water systems course is aimed at plumbers and heating engineers wanting to legally install, service or commission domestic hot water systems in the UK.

Entry requirements

You must hold a level 2 qualification in Plumbing.

What will I study?

The unvented practical training covers the installation, commissioning and maintenance of unvented hot water systems.

Theory training covers unvented hot water systems and their operating principles, the design and installation of unvented hot water storage systems, maintenance of unvented hot water storage systems and sealed central heating systems, meeting the requirements of Part L1 of the Building Regulations.
